This workshop is designed for people with arthritis, fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. One of the major areas where people often have difficulty is rolling over in bed and getting up in the morning. If you identify with this or have similar difficulties, this workshop is for you!
Experiential Anatomy Workshop
Exploring and Refining Figure Drawing
This workshop juxtaposes explorations of moving and feeling with seeing and drawing. Explore personal movement patterns and universal anatomical concepts using Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) sequences. This allows for understanding structural detail, relationships between the parts and how the parts fit together so they have a felt sense of their subject. ATM sequences develop a language of physical sensation using the floor as a biofeedback tool. The workshop integrates drawing with an experiential approach to anatomy.
